For some reason, people are praised when they choose work over everything else. It's "cool" to work through lunch, accepted to always work late, and normal to miss a lot of quality time with friends and family. None of this is cool to do on a regular basis! You know what's cool? A mind and body primed for YOUR success!
Your mind & body can do amazing things. Everything you do, all that you are, and all that you accomplish, comes from how you treat & take care of yourself. Stop trading your health for the pursuit of wealth, but leverage it to attract abundance in all areas!
Sample Decade Progression
When we're young, most of us have our health. Our parents &/or guardians look after us as best they can, and try to give us the best head start they know how. This youthful energy is full of curiosity, playfulness, desire, and ambition.
In our 20's we start to see how others are getting ahead & try to copy the habits of our superiors. We're still focused on competition as we look for opportunity in our chosen industry. New relationships develop but finding time to connect & grow starts to get difficult.
In our 30's we experience burnout & overwhelm from trying to keep up for too long. Our industry is changing and our relationships suffer. Health concerns start to pop up "out of nowhere," and all of a sudden big changes start to happen. Things feel strained & we don't know where we're going to end up.

In our 40's, keeping up with the Joneses no longer matters. We seek to identify the mistakes we've made & gain the courage to make our own change. Seeing the results of our efforts has us investing back in ourselves because it's now or never. Slowly we come to terms with needing to ask for help. All our hard work shows, but it takes a toll on our health & relationships. In our 50's is when the results of our habits really catch up to us. We've spent our whole lives trying to provide for our families, build status, and create wealth that we forgot quality of life also means being able to LIVE it. Our hard earned dollars are now spent trying to buy back our health & our time.
Does any of this sound like thriving? Does it sound "cool" now? (My heart aches to know we choose this). Okay, now that we addresses the darkness, let's bring in the brighter stuff.
Health is EVERYTHING
Everything you do, think, feel, choose, and believe, all have to do with your health. It's the mind, body, and spirit working together to bring you the best life possible according to you!
Could you be better at your job if... you could make faster decisions? YES! Could you have closer relationships if... you could talk about hard feelings? YES! Could you experience more abundance if... you could see your value? YES!
Whatever it is you think you want, it requires time & ability.
Whatever it is you think you want, it requires time & ability. Poor health and your attitude are holding you back from not just doing things faster, but with less effort too. They held me back often. Sometimes, they still do.
High Performers Do It Well High performers get things done and do them well. They're productive, assertive, energetic, and focused. They understand that in order to be successful they have to know themselves, trust themselves, and be their best selves. The people they serve need their help. The best way to serve is to bring your A-game so the client/customer brings theirs. Knowing how to manage stress & emotions is a major skill for high performers. Instead of pushing all the stress down inside them, they let it out productively. Emotion is just energy in motion, so they let it flow appropriately. Less biological & psychological resistance means fewer limits & obstacles to our own success.

Wellness is Being WELL
The old mindset that health is just the lack of disease needs to be adjusted. Would you just like life to not be bad? Hell no! You want a good life, no, a great life! Great, same goes for health. You don't want to just survive, you want to thrive.

People are obsessed with finding inspiration in the stories of others in similar circumstances. It makes them feel like they're not alone, and that somebody out there understands them. Stepping up to tell your story in a way that serves others will attract people who want the same change. That's how you influence change, by being an example of the change you want to see.
