It's Not Easy Being "Green"

A lot of people say they are "going green," but what does that really mean? What if you were sustainable instead? Do you know the difference?



Have you "gone green?"


"Green" is a social & cultural term used to describe things that are "eco-friendly", energy-efficient and recyclable. Sustainable means using less resources than are being produced at a rate that sustains future generations. Something that is "green" is not always sustainable, but something sustainable is always "green."

Something that is "green" is not always sustainable, but something sustainable is always "green."

Aiming for sustainability creates a shift in the way we think and the way we live. This shift allows us to apply healthier practices to where we live, work and play, but what are those healthier practices?

Together, we will explore what it takes to live healthier, more sustainable lives and start taking the steps needed to get there!
